Previously published under the title The March of Faith, this book details the moving life story of Samuel Morris.After a miraculous escape from certain death during the ravages of intertribal warfare in Liberia, Africa, Kaboo was converted to Christ by Methodist missionaries and baptized under the name Samuel Morris. Traveling to America for pastoral training in the late 1880's, his trip was a missionary voyage in itself when several seamen were lead to Christ through his godly life. At Taylor University his example of faith made him a leader among the students and a challenge to the faulty.An unforgettable biography which shows Christ's love felling all racial barriers.

    Amazing true story!

    Wonderful book every Christian should read! Never knew about this story before coming across it on amazon prime tv under Torchlighters stories of amazing Christian people. It was animated version, but very interesting and compelling!

    This book is a picture of SEEKING God!

    Samuel Morris is one who SEEKS God more than any person I have read about. He talks to his father all the time. I have read this book several times trying to grasp how to seek God more. This is my favorite book!

    An inspirational read!

    A quick read about an African prince who suffers greatly before being rescued by a bright light and a voice. Keep turning the pages as you discover that the person who saved him was Jesus Christ and see the changes this young man makes in America, and indiretly in his own native country of Africa, as a result of that experience.
