    Not what I should have been looking for.

    I was looking for a Jewish/Lithuanian cookbook. My family was originally from Lithuania a century ago and I am hoping to find recipes my mother used which were never written down. The women didn’t measure using standard units of measurement they had their own way e g 2 pinches of salt. This is a wonderful book for finding strictly Lithuanian/Russian recipes.

    Good summary of Lithuanian cooking

    Very good recipes that are easy to follow. I purchased this book because I am 25% Lithuanian, yet have no idea about the culture. This is the only concise, decently priced Lithuanian cookbook that I could find. I can't wait until I try more of the recipes in this book!

    I love this book so much I have bought 3 s far.It is hard to find Lithuanian cook books in English with more than one good recipe. There are many in this one such as the potato soup recipe is great!

    I would not know

    I am of Lithuanian Decent and am interested in my heritage. I purchsed this book over a month ago and despite numerous communications with the vendor I have yet to receive my purchase. If I ever do receive the product I will be more than happy to write a glowing review.

    lithuianian?

    I was born in Lithuania. Food there is more colorful and interesting .Recipes in the book are repeated under different names. Do not recommend.
