Despite thorough packing, lamp base arrived dented, but I was still very fond of the item and wanted to keep it. Seller was very fair and was willing to refund half of the total purchase price. With a little bit of patience and care, I was able to repair the item to close to it's original condition. Pleasure doing business with the seller - great communicator. Shipping was a little slow, but not the seller's fault. There was a big snow storm that caused rerouting of the package.
