About this product

Product Information

Three books in one (Ger./Engl.) Nan Hoover, Anneliese Hager and Maria Lassnig are women artists whoexpressed themselves experimentally and innovatively in various media. They were interested in alienation effects, body perception, andreflections about time and space. All three explored Surrealism early onand found their own individual visual language in different ways: thecommon denominator is a preoccupation with light, space and the body, aswell as the existential question of self-perception and one's place inthe world. While American Hoover (Born in Bay Shore, New York) was one of the pioneers ofinternational light, video and performance art and produced a surprisingpainterly early oeuvre close to pop art, Hager, who is one of the mostinteresting female photographers of the 20th century, remains verylittle known. Today, Austrian painter Lassnig is one of the mostimportant female artists of the 20th century, but she only achieved herinternational breakthrough late - in the 1980s. This publication, threebooks in one, enables readers to rediscover the three artists, or evendiscover them for the first time. Art, body, (self-)perception - a focused, concentrated introduction to the work and biography of three 20th century women artist Nan Hoover(1931-2008), light, video and performance artist (Nan Hoover's workswere exhibited in many countries across the world, among them are theMuseum of Modern Art, New York (part of the Collection) / OsakaContemporary Art Center in Osaka / Musée d'Art Contemporain, Montreal/ Long Beach Museum of Art, California / Art Metropole, Toronto) Anneliese Hager (1904-1997), photo artist, poet Maria Lassnig(1919-2014), painter, graphic artist (Lassnig's works are held in thecollection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Her work was includedin the 2022 exhibition Women Painting Women at the Modern Art Museum ofFort Worth, Texas and MoMA PS1 held a major exhibition in 2014 of herworks

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
