Holster probably fine for some guns, however the 642 (which is a J frame as described for this holster) doesn't remotely fit. Not even close. DO NOT buy if you have a 642. Told them it didn't fit, no offer of resolution other than to question whether I know how a gun should fit (i own like 100 holsters, i know when a kydex holster is wrong for a gun) and when i replied again to that message, no response. Again, holster looks alright but sure doesn't fit the most popular J frame of the time.
