Kwikset Cutting Costs
I have a couple of these that I purchased several years ago and the build quality is night and day inferior to the older set. Looks like they've gone with much thinner, easier to produce parts to make them. The appearance is the same. I just hope they hold up and last as long as the old ones should. Which appear to be built to last a lifetime... I still like the look so I do recommend them, but they don't compare to the build quality of the old model.
