About this product

Product Information

The book feels modern in its references and social cornerstones while retaining a classic, elegant style thanks to Wimmer's gorgeous portraits of the princesses in their crowns, each facing a page of that princess in action. Brown and Wimmer use diversity not only to highlight important differences among people, but also to show how these unique traits and interests allow every princess to choose her own path. If every girl is a little princess, this book shows that to keep that crown requires only finding things to love in life and pursuing them. ~Kirkus Star Review and BEST BOOKS OF 2018 There's a princess closer than you think. You just have to open your eyes and your heart wide. Don't expect your typical fairytale princesses inside this book. These princesses are neighbors, schoolmates, the cashier at your supermarket, a lawyer, an architect... The Truly Brave Princesses will help you realize that, if you watch closely, princesses are all around you, and they are brave, caring and determined. También disponible en español. Meet Princess Alice, a surfing blogger; Princess Kristen, an aspiring superheroine; Princess Nin, a firefighting city gardener; and many other princesses in this colorful tribute to the beautiful diversity, strength, and inspiration found in women of all ages, shapes, and walks of life. ~Foreword Reviews, I have never seen anyone with Down Syndrome ever celebrated in this manner before. Plus the writing is really fun. Better check it out. ~Fuse8, The truly brave princesses" is a book that celebrates diversity and teaches little girls that princesses don't just belong into fairytales. Author Dolores Brown shows that very few women resemble the perfect picture of a princess tales and movies represent. Real-life-princesses come in all shape and sizes, colors and sexual orientations: The girl in a wheelchair, the child with down syndrome, the elderly widow, the working mother and the lawyer helping to make the world a better place are just a few example of every day princesses around us. Some of them even don't want to be called a princess - like astronaut Zoe, who retired her princess some time ago and now travels through distant space. The artwork by German illustrator Sonja Wimmer is truly amazing. She gives every princess a unique personality by using colorful watercolor images on a slightly structured background. I am not one for ripping pages out of a book, but I almost thought about framing her images!~The Reading Castle, Meet Princess Alice, a surfing blogger; Princess Kristen, an aspiring superheroine; Princess Nin, a firefighting city gardener; and many other princesses in this colorful tribute to the beautiful diversity, strength, and inspiration found in women of all ages, shapes, and walks of life. ~Foreword Reviews (Foreword Indies Bronze Medal Winner)., I have never seen anyone with Down Syndrome ever celebrated in this manner before. Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
