It catches the fish.
In Northern Maine the gold hook and gold wigley gets just about every fish out there to be caught. Trouts, salmon, yellow perch, white perch, chub and even a togue. Some days a silver hook and a white wigley gets em. They wear good last. Only loose a few on under watter logs and brush. I buy 50 packs of Gold Hooks and Gold Wigleys to refill the pack and give the grand children. A friend gave a kit to me as a gift and now I give them to frinds and family as gifts. They Do Catch Fish. Far better than the other $$$$ in my tackle box. JUST SLOWLY REELING IT IN AND LETTING IT FALL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE RIVER IS AND LIFTING UP SLOWLY (not jigging it in) IS WHAT WORKS FOR ME. USING A BOBBER IS NOT WORKING FOR ME. IT DOES CATCH MORE FISH THAN ANY OTHER LURE I HAVE EVER USED.
