Overpaid for an open box item that was listed elsewhere brand new for $30 LESS than what I paid with FREE shipping. But hey, at least the seller was kind enough to refund half of my shipping costs, after 1. Telling me the item was listed as an open box item but is indeed brand new. FALSE. 2. Telling me that in the future, I need to call the store for a better price. This is customer service!? WILL NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER AGAIN! BUYER BEWARE!

    The Trees Make the Painting

I'm a visual artist rather than a musician; currently working on a series of paintings of my favorite rock stars. After Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, next I tackled Bonzo playing "Four Sticks" (old photo imported from UK ) ! His "trees" add quite a flair on the 4 edges of the painting....delightful !! When this painting is hung in one of my gallery spaces with my darling Jimmy ( mini cello bow included) they'll both be marked Not For Sale. These works will be handed down to my grandchildren; they need to grow up understanding what REAL Rock'n'Roll was all about. I'll submit a picture when it is completed and signed.

  • The 'trees" played by John Bonham to shake the rock world, powerful, balanced, and light!.

The "trees" played by John Bonham spoke volumes, literally and figuratively. A great stick, designed by the best for the best.

  • Well made, but lighter than I thought they'd be

Like when I sat on the Easy Rider bike at Daytona years ago, it's a chance to be close to your heroes and compare yourself to them. I found the Bonham sticks are well made, hardly bigger than my Promarks- and much lighter. That was a surprise. I always wanted a pair of these.

  • Great sticks

16” drumsticks are to short for me taste. These feel really good in my hands. I would compare them to the Greg Bissonette Vic Firth ‘Backbeat’ model with a little more length. The enlarged tips give you great definition and the short taper gives you power when you need it. I can play play quietly of loud and they work great in both settings.

  • Bingham sticks

I like these sticks, nice weight and balance. I’ve always preferred a hickory wood stick and am also a fan of the acorn tip.
