    Belkin WiFi Range Extender

    I really liked the ease of setting up this WiFi Range Extender and it has really helped me with the WiFi range in my residence. When the extender goes out of range and the light is not showing blue a simple press of a button or unplugging it for a few moments then plugging it back in helps reset it. I would recommend this product and would but one again if needed or necessary.

    I haven't been able to figure out how to hook it up properly yet.... seems to be a problem for others as well. ??? Still working on that.

    Belkin F9K1106 Dual Band Range Extender

    I really like this extender. I have a work shop that is at least 50 feet from my house. The extender allows me to operate my lap top computer, which is very necessary for me to do. I strongly recommend this range extender. I've tries others and they just don't have the range my Belkin has.

    Affordable and powerful, but needs resets often

    On my second one now. The first one was a victim of a tree branch hitting a power line. Not sure why, but this one like the first needs a reset every few days. I'm using it like a bridge to get wi-fi into an area some distance from my router. Because of this the remote computer is cabled to the range extender and is able to reset it by entering belkin range into a browser window when it locks up. Entering this a menu pops up allowing you to select reset. When not locked up it has a large pattern bringing wi-fi all over our property.

    check the brand

    Although this says it will work with any router, I have a Dlink router and it kept kicking us off of the wifi access. If you happen to have dlink, you might not want Belkin. Then again, it could have just been my specific router. When we were able to connect, signal was excellent and pictures and videos loaded extremely quickly.
