    Perfect for my recording studio at a great price

    I'm using the 1515+ NAS In RAID 5 to back up my entire recording studio and as my families cloud backup. It's so quiet and maintenance free, I just let it do its thing. One drive went bad in the first month and I just swapped it out with out issues!! Perfect.

    Synology WILL NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE perform in warranty repairs on any Synology products unless the following is met: Original receipt from Synology Authorized dealer (listing available on the website) to the ORIGINAL purchased. Recipt is not transferable to any other person or party!!! NO EXCEPTIONS Synology does not repair out of warranty products. Synology does not sell repair parts to anyone. Synology parts are not available anywhere...just google "Synology Blue light issues" Read Synology warranty / repair details on Synology website!!! or call them.

    Synology DSM is Awesome and Some Parts Available

    I lost this auction but I own both 2-bay and a 4-bay Synology NAS systems. I thought the one review was misleading. First, likely replacement parts, like drive trays, fans, and power supplies are available online from the "synology america store" and prices are quite reasonable, IMO. I never needed warranty service from Synology so I can't comment on that. The Synology NAS boxes have plastic cases and don't look as "industrial" as some others (like my Thecus) but they work great. The best part is the Synology DSM software which has MANY included capabilities from web sites to media servers. Best of all, the DSM GUI user interface is east to use and it's the same for all NAS models and Synology keeps it updated continuously.

    SYNOLOGY NAS = Great home server or small business NAS

    I started with a 1512+ which served me very well and I ended up selling to a friend. I then purchased a 1515+ which is amazing with 16GB of ram. Pretty much anything you could want this device does. If you want to run a media server, this will do it. If you want to centrally store your children's videos and photos and share with family, this will do it (and very easily). If you want to create a bog, this will do it and host it yourself. The ios apps are all polished and work very well with direct access on the go. I have never had any warranty or repair issues. The operating system is very stable. An amazing product. Once you have one as part of your home, you will never go back.

    Good for home user

    Synology offers reliable pool configuration with BTRFS from 0 to multiple disks redundancies. On top of that the applications available add to the package. Good for the home users, this model has 5 bays that can provide to an excellent storage space. The CPU is fast, but memory needs to be added for a better performance.
