About this product

Product Information

Disney/Pixar's Monsters, Inc. for the GameCube is a dodgeball competition held within a series of stadiums. Characters from the 2001 computer animated movie hurl spheres called "laugh balls" to help children overcome their fears. As more children are given the gift of laughter, each monster's personal laugh canister fills up. The first creature to completely fill its canister wins the game. In addition to the single-player contest, up to four players can battle each other in a multiplayer mode.

  • Fun and Unique, Low replayability

This is a great title for kids. Its fun violence without being gory. The challenges are tough enough for kids to wrestle with but not too much to overcome, and they really liked the familiar characters. The multiplayer mode is fun for the whole family. The only problem with the game is the limited number of accomplishments that can be obtained. After the kids played the game through once and unlocked all the characters, the only true replayability was in multiplayer mode. There are no alternate storylines, no character development, only one unlockable (changing clothes), and no further game challenges. Once they finished the game, there was very little incentive to pick it up again.

  • Monsters, Inc. (Game Cube, 2002)

I bought the game for my granddaughter (8 years old). My granddaughter likes it because she gets to 'meet' all the characters and she says that it is a 'fun game'. What I dislike about it is that it is difficult to get her to stop playing the game, but I have the same trouble with most of the games that she enjoys playing. I would buy the product again because she has fun playing this game.

  • They were no problem

l play it and there were no errors. On the game the game was find no problem
