Excellent polemic of the 13th Century
Rabbi Moses Nahmanides was a doctor, philosopher and Rabbi who was forced in 1263 to debate Dominican missionary inquisitors on whose version of the truth of the Bible is correct, and to verify from Scripture if indeed the Messiah had come as Christianity claims. Rabbi Moshe ben Nahman defended the Jewish point of view most excellently and up until a few years ago the only presentation of this debate was to be found in Jewish sources. In recent years however, the actual Spanish or latin? language translation was found in the archives of the Inquisition and verified the Jewish point of view to be true to the way Jews have presented this debate all along. This book is the transcripts of the debate as Ramban presented it. It is a great source of information in debating (hebrew) christian ... In the middle ages, such a statement from a learned christian, speaks volumes today, to all honest christians and jews who may be believe in jesus as the jewish messiah. In amazing book that give knowledge about of prophecy that G-d gave us about the messiah. Theses prophecies has not been fulfilled yet .
