It's difficult to imagine a film starring Barbra Streisand without her musical stamp of excellence upon it. This CD certainly bears her mark of soundtrack quality. In fact, Streisand is the compilation producer, along with an impressive team of producers: David Foster, Marvin Hamlisch, Johnny Mandel & Richard Marx. The soundtrack to this Barbra Streisand & Jeff Bridges film is scored by Oscar-winner Marvin Hamlisch. The film's theme song, "I Finally Found Someone," a duet with Streisand & Bryan Adams, was nominated for a 1998 Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals Grammy Award. Watch the movie and definately purchase the soundtrack!
I recently watched the movie on television and for some reason in parts it brought me to tears. Love the acting and the principal actors Jeff Bridges and Barbra Streisand were outstanding and the music in the movie was memorable. That's the reason that I purchased the CD and also the movie. Have played the CD quite a few times since receiving it and throughly enjoyed it.
