A vintage television drama about a group of commandos stationed in Northern Africa during WWII, RAT PATROL follows Sergeant Sam Troy (Christopher George) and his three soldiers (Gary Raymond, Lawrence P. Casey, and Justin Tarr) as they try to defeat their enemy, Hauptmann Dietrich (Eric Braeden, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS).     Good plot twists and excellent cast

    With the time constraint they some times leave out too many details but they manage a lot of plot twists that leave you very satisfied. I know there are issues about historical inaccuracies but I appreciate the tribute to our soldiers. The 4 guys work very well together. Troy is such a great leader - blends hard nose Sargent with compassion for his men and those they rescue. Realistic - things go wrong. They get hurt. Good guys go down. But good triumphs in the end. 2 seasons was not enough.

    Great 60s entertainment

    Nostalgia trip takes me back. Helps me cope with missing my Rat Patrol lunch box, and whatever happened to Christopher George? We miss you buddy. Too bad you guys didn't do more seasons, but filming most everything on location must have been a real bear. 2nd season seems a bit better refined than the 1st, but good binge material all the same.

    Even better than season one!

    Anyone familiar with this series shouldn't be disappointed with the 28 episodes from season two. There are hardly any that only envoke head shaking and rolling eyes. I think the series hit its stride in this season as the plots and characters seem more realistic and mature. The Germans can actually hit the broad side of a barn now as the Patrol's jeeps are occasionally seen doing flip flops after being hit by enemy fire. Also every member of the Rat Patrol gets shot at some point. The war seems to be taking a greater toll on the characters in this season. Troy's nicotine habit has noticably increased, Hitchcock's trademark smile is seldom seen, Moffitt gets treated more like the second string, Tully disappears for 4 episodes, and Dietrich's darker side emerges as we learn he is ...

    Goof Fun TV.

    One fun TV show. Can put 98% of the trash on TV now to shame. They don't know how to make good fun TV shoes now. They would need to think. Can't do that now can we?
