The book is like new, it has a few pencil writings but I like it because I have used them to understand the lessons better! The front cover is different color than the other fifth editions I found but the inside it completely the same! The price was great and it even had the CD that comes with it. I found other ones without the CD and at least double the price. It was a great buy! Trying to learn Italian from a cd course...needed more information about conjugating verbs, etc...Bookis a very good source for that information...although it would be better in a classroom situation, I am finding it useful.
