Product Information

“Balto” is an animated historical drama based on the true life story of a wolf-dog hybrid who saved children from a diphtheria outbreak in Nome, Alaska in 1925. In the movie, Balto is an outcast and lives on the outskirts of town because he is not accepted by the community over being half-dog and half-wolf. One evening, the children in town start getting very ill. It's a brutal winter and they need a way to get the vaccine for the children. The story follows his adventure to be accepted and win the hearts of the townspeople. Voices of the characters are by well-known actors including Kevin Bacon and Bridget Fonda. Rated G, this is a heartwarming movie for the entire family.

I bought this version of balto because I heard on social media that they released a version that has the artwork for the dvd but it was on vhs I was a little hesitant at first because I know there’s a lot of people out there nowadays making money off of bootlegs and selling them at unbeatable prices but I di eventually come around to searching it with persuasion of course and come to find out it did indeed exist I was both shocked and excited even better as luck would turn out it just so happens I came across your listing for the exact vhs I was looking for new on top of It was brand new and I knew that if I didn’t act fast someone was going to buy it before I did and then I would have to wait for a really long time before another one came in this condition at such a good price too might ... This movie is based off of a true story, now that doesnt mean everything that happens in it is true, but what is true is the story of a part wolf dog helping the sledding team get medicine to a dying town in need in the middle of one of the roughest winters of all times. Now the talking animals isnt true but hey its a kiddy movie! I think kids of all ages will love this movie, I did as a Kid, and I've enjoyed it as an adult as well, and someday my children will enjoy it to. I recommend this movie, and it has a great must see ending which ties the begining and the entire movie together. This movie is great for kids of all ages!! Who ever came up with this idea for a movie must have been classified an outcast or was treated without respect! This film teaches children that just because you may be different in some peoples eyes does not mean that you are not worthy or intelligent Also teaches children that being a bully, being selfish or lying does not make you a good person at all. I would recommend this movie to all who have children in thier homes whether it be a daycare,foster home,shelter,etc.This movie is great for kids of all ages!!
