    Had trouble starting tiller replaced carb runs like new

    The carburetor arrived on time and was as stated in add. The kit came with the proper gaskets and in less than five minutes I had the old one off and the new one installed. After priming the carb it started on the first pull. this rototiller has run ruff and was hard to start for the last few years. I don't know why I waited so long to buy a new carb. The tiller runs good now and idles like new, I highly recommend this carburetor if your having trouble starting your engine just replace the carb and solve the problem.

    Briggs and Stratton 6hp Carb

    I will start by saying that I ordered this carburetor from the part number on the owners manual. This carb did not work for my application. I have a 6 hp tiller that this was to replaced the current carb. At the price it seemed like a good deal rather than doing a rebuild. The initial quality looked great on the replacement carb. The problem was that the replacement carb was jetted wrong for this engine. It was flooding the engine to the point that it would barely run. I did check the needle valve and it sealed. When I compared the original with the new carb it was apparent to hat the jets were not the correct size. I did keep the carb for parts instead of going to the trouble of sending it back. Maybe this was just a bad batch and you will have better luck.

    Great Carb for the money

    Great Carburetor. I installed this on a Craftsman 6 HP rear tine tiller. I hadn't used it in two years. Runs like new now with this new carburetor.
