    Except When Jon Bon Jovi Is In A Scene It's A Bomb...

    Sigh ! I bought this movie just because it was Jon's acting debut, but he wasn't even mentioned in the opening credits. I was expecting something like : "Introducing Jon Bon Jovi". The plot is dull, disjointed and draggy---a recently widowed woman tries to get over her tragedy with help from her female friends and relatives. Then, an adorable and sexy young guy (Jon) is hired, by her meddling mother-in-law, to paint her house. He does it partly in the moonlight. (I would have thought this irrestibly wacky and pulled him under a tree in the dark. Oh, well...) Anyway, it ends up that the widow would rather hang out in a cemetary with her face painted with symbols and in a long robe doing strange, girl-bonding with her friends than have another date with the lusicious Jon, who is left ...
