  • Fuji Finepix 1300 digital camera

[written July, 2008] I first got one of these back in 2000 as a free giveaway from Staples with the purchase of Windows or Office. At the time it was a state of the art camera. By all of today's standards it's hopelessly obsolete and you would think it was junk. BUT NO!, it's not. This is a GREAT camera for quick, no-muss, no-fuss E-Bay pictures and quick photos you just want to E-Mail to someone. Ok, no zoom and it's only 1.3 Megapixels (although it is a VERY, VERY GOOD 1.3MP ... comparable in overall quality to many 2MP and even some 3MP cameras). But you can take the photo and be done in 30 seconds, it's small, compact, and it's ridiculoulsly easy to use (it has almost no settings or adjustments), it just does the basic picture taking job and you are done. It does it well, no ...

  • Perfect for the sales professional

This cameral for me has been truly wonderful. I have been a rock climber for years now, and the camera has gone with me everywhere. Now, i've become a photographer and have gone to a much higher megapixel. I do realize a quality for this camera would benefit and be PERFECT for the sales profecssional. If you are a person that has to photo displays, or whatever you do, and send it back to "home office", this is the type of camera you need.

  • FinePix is a great grab!

The FinePix line is a favorite of mine for digital cameras. Their layouts with button and functions are a lot simpler than other digital cameras. If I remember correctly, Sony is a good example of too many buttons and poor layout. Also, I believe Sony produces overpriced products with cheap components. The FinePix line is what I sold to customers when I worked in Retail/E-commerce. It's what I suggested to people who wanted to take serious pictures.

  • good little camera simple to use

camera is simple to use and takes good pictures but not good for very fine detail shots ex like takeing closeup shots of a watch movement

  • Fuji Cameras are Great

I love Fuji cameras, We are buying 11 of them for our grandchildren for Christmas this year. I have used Fuji for 10 years now and on my second 1 the 2600 Zoom at this time
