I took a chance on this comic book. The description just said “book”. They didn’t use a real picture of the book either. But still I purchased it. Book came in today in a flimsy package with no cardboard backing nor was it in a sealed bag. This book came from a library and still has the library stickers on it and has been stamped inside by the library itself.

    Force your high school and college kids to read this book.

    This is a scholarly book for linguists, archaeologists, and anthropologists. I was fascinated. If you're looking for proof that the Phoenicians followed by the Carthaginians had a world-wide shipping trade with the Americas, this is the book for you. I feel sorry for the author, if he's still alive, he must be disillusioned. In the 1970s, he had the opinion that this book would upend archaeology in this hemisphere. As we've found out, it your conclusions don't fit the established narrative, you get ignored and marginalized. He devotes a chapter to the Egyptian hieroglyphic influence in the Indian writings in Maine. There are many tables documenting the Celtic Ogam script carved into rocks here in the US (northeast, mainly.)

    They Were Here and Came From Far

    This is a book stuffed with facts and loaded with names of other researchers. Hard to read it out loud to my sight challenged friend but I am glad to get this original book. Illustrations all throughout and photographs help to pull together the healthy load of information. This is a keeper in associating history of the early ancestors of America. Mind opening to all the people who came and went. Well beyond what one learns in public school of who lived in Northern America.
