Excellent Show
Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba has changed a few of the acts over the years in Disney Springs but regardless of the minor changes experienced the excellent level of entertainment has never wavered! The entertainment value has maintained its status as one of the best shows that Disney has hosted over the years. The DVD shows the quality of the venue although there are so many "things" happening at the same time that the camera is unable to capture the only way to really "see" everything is to attend a showing in person. La Nouba Is Amazing!!!!!!!
My mom and I were at Disney World for Christmas last year.We had gone two years before and we had heard everyone talking about this show La Nouba.Everyone was saying how amazing it was.For my moms birthday I bought the tickets for us to go when we were at Disney World.It was one of the most amazing shows I have ever been to.The only place you can see this show is at Downtown Disney in Orlando Florida.I would tell anyone planning on making a trip to Disney World or that lives in the area and has not seen the show to go see it.It is well worth the money.Even the cheapest seats are the best.If you can not see the show in person the DVD is amazing too.Nothing like really being there but a great memory from going.I have only had the DVD for 2 days now and have shown it to all my friends and ... See It...... And Still You Won't Believe It!
We saw La Nouba in Orlando this year (06) and all I can say is - you won't be disappointed! My misses had her doubts about the show prior to seeing it (she said it's not her scene); afterwards she couldn't stop talking about it. Now we're off to see Alegria at the Royal Albert Hall in January. Highlights of the show - The Diablos, German Wheel and The Chairs; but all the acts are topnotch and there's never a dull moment. No matter where you sit in the auditorium you get a good view of the stage, though some side seats don't have the best view for the Trapeze. Sit in the front row and you might get picked on (like i did) for the bike jump; just go for it!! I love cirque du soleil. After watching this performance in Disney, I wanted to join cirque.. and my friend bought the video for his girlfriend, and we watched it not long after that, so i decided to get it, and i've already watched it a few times. Great Great Great! the only problem with it is that this video only has 3 of the diablos girls and the live performance had 4, and this was a while ago so my friend isn't in here or interviewed in the special features.I love cirque du soleil. After watching this performance in Disney, I wanted to join cirque.. and my friend bought the video for his girlfriend, and we watched it not long after that, so i decided to get it, and i've already watched it a few times. Great video of a soon to close show
My family saw this many years ago. It was the first Cirque du Soleil show for my kids, so a favorite in the house. This is a nice video of the entire show and a behind the scenes in how it was created. It's nice to have considering the show is closing in Dec17. Only complaint is it's only available on DVD and not high-def.
