About this product

Product Information

Players take to the air as a harlequin hero in this soaring action-adventure for the Wii. Nights: Journey of Dreams takes gamers back to the fantastical dream world of Nightopia, first introduced in Nights Into Dreams... for the Sega Saturn, where glowing orbs of human consciousness known as Ideyas are under assault by raiders from the neighboring land of Nightmare. Led by Wizeman, the evil ruler of Nightmare, hordes of Nightmarens invade Nightopia with plans to collect all the Ideyas of courage, purity, growth, intellect, and hope. With the goal of stabilizing the dreams of the main human characters Will and Helen, gamers use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to guide the Nightopian jester Nights as he glides and loops around the surreal skies grabbing as many Ideyas as possible.

Both Will and Helen present players with a different set of challenges, and as gamers navigate the seven unique environments they can unlock three masks that add to Nights' acrobatic and shape-shifting abilities. The dragon persona transforms Nights into a massive dragon, while the dolphin persona lets players explore the depths of the ocean, and the rocket persona gives Nights the shape and speed of a supersonic rocket. In addition to the single-player adventure, two players can go head-to-head in both a battle and race mode, or gamers can go online and challenge friends to races. Nights: Journey of Dreams makes use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, but it is also fully compatible with both the Classic Controller and GameCube controllers.

Just received my order and everything was fine. Sometimes I wish shipping was quicker but Canada Post is up and down often so no complaints with a 7 day wait. I’ve had up to 14 day waits before for very similar orders from similar locations. She was great to work with in terms of communication, and the items came as displayed. Well packaged. The shipping was very low so that was great. All in all. I’m happy. Thanks hahnasay

A Dream Come True Once Again!

This game is so much fun and the level of creativity in the gameplay, music, visual design, and world building is just incredible. It's level of difficulty can be a bit challenging at times and it may take a while to get used to the controls at first and you have to really think hard on how to beat the nightmarens, but the experience of exploring different locations of Nightopia, playing a variety of missions for each world, and having solid gameplay and fantastic music that almost rivals NiGHTS Into Dreams makes this game a worthy continuation of NiGHTS. If you are a fan of NiGHTS Into Dreams and haven’t already or are extremely curious about the sequel, I am glad to recommend you give NiGHTS Journey of Dreams a shot.

  • Journey This Way

Way back in 1996, Sega's original Nights into Dreams... for Sega Saturn famously faced off against Nintendo's N64 killer app Super Mario 64...and was inarguably trounced. While Mario's expansive level design, pinpoint controls, and solid presentation established the ground rules for a new era of 3D platformers, Nights' quirky take on airborne trickery inspired no such imitators, fading into obscurity after fostering only a hardcore, cult-classic following. But that doesn't mean that Sonic Team's dreamy harlequin had nothing to offer -- Nights' refined aesthetics and nuanced gameplay definitely deserve another shot at success. And although the Wii-exclusive Journey of Dreams arrives unfashionably late to the proceedings (and squarely in the shadow of yet another genre-redefining Mario ...

  • Nights: Journey of Dreams-- for the Nintendo Wii

I own the original Nights for Sega Saturn and I must say, the Wii version is definately a step up. I love the characters and story line. At first, I wasn't sure how I felt about Nights having a voice (Im hardcore oldschool) but it fits well. I can't stand the controls on this game! It just doesn't give me the control over Nights that I had with the Sega Saturn 3D controller. It takes a lot of getting used to. Overall, I am "satisfied" with this game. If you are a fan of the original, pick up a copy for a nice trip down memory lane. If you've never played the original, I would avoid this title...or give it a rent. You may take a liking to it.

  • I LOVE NIGHTS! Great graphics, MUSIC, and fun!

Hello! I got this game when it first came out. In my opinion this game is a lot of fun. What is excellent about this game is the music. Seriously I rarely hear a game with tracks this good. The graphics are amazing...of course this game is suppose to look like a dream so the stages are very extravagant! What I really like is the details in every stage! As for gameplay...it took a while to get use to the controls. I play Starfox and other flying games and you mostly press down for up and up for down....this game doesnt do that and that was the hardest for me to get use to. --- I will say this game though is very hard to play in. Since there is no walkthroughs or guides out yet...you are basically playing in the dark. The goals of the game is sometimes not to clear so it took me a ...

  • Good game

I've yet to finish the game but I'm glad with how everything works! I feel like the voice acting is a bit hit or miss but it's fine for the most part.
