    Great book for those wanting to start family history work.

    I have the newer version of this book. The only difference is the cover. Otherwise all information is consistent regardless of what year book you buy. This is a great book to begin organizing and compiling family information for future generations, so that stories and unrecorded facts don't die with our ancestors. Also, the book is beautiful.

    "OUR FAMILY TREE by MacDonald"

    The "Our Family Tree" book that I purchased was something I saw in a classroom at the school where I clean. I knew I wanted it from the start because I am very interested in genealogy. This book is filled with places to start my own family tree and has very descriptive topics for me to list my information. "Our Family Tree" is a hardback and will make a wonderful gift for my children/and or grandchildren when I am finished with it. I have checked out other family tree books but most are paperback and I don't feel they wear as well. When I am finished searching data and have filled in as far back as I can possibly go with my family, I intend to purchase another "Our Family Tree" by MacDonald and do a search on my husband's family. This book contains a lot of information that I can use ...

    Good for beginner genealogists.

    The first few pages were filled out but nothing some whiteout didn’t fix. I wanted to get this to fill out and make notes then copy to a brand New one. More like a practice book. It is a very nice book and looks pretty sitting on the shelf. Highly recommend

    Excellent Family Tree Material!

    I bought this for my newborn granddaughter's first Christmas gift. I have done this for each grandchild as they are born into our family. This gives them the basics of our genealogy, written in their grandmother's own hand. The suggestions gently guide you in filling out each page. And what wasn't pertinent to our family, I simply filled in with photographs of our ancestors. My son and daughter-in-law were amazed with this gift, and promised to safeguard it for our little granddaughter until she can appreciate its contents. I highly recommend this to anyone who is new to working on their family tree!

    Still as Good as it ever was!!!

    This book helped Rekindle my interest in genealogical research back in 1978. This form book was published in 1977, but still a fun find.
