    The Perfect Lawn Tractor Hitch

    This Hitch works perfectly on my Ryobi Lawn Tractor. The color instructions that comes with it is great and very easy to understand. I really like that this hitch still has the lower Lawn Tractor hitch built into it, for my yard equipment. That's what had me deciding on this one not to mention the great price... Oh wait I guess I mentioned it 🙂 This is a really great product and I definitely highly recommend it.

    Awesome item

    I was using my truck to tow a trailer through the yard, but it was destroying my lawn. So, I saw this and decided to purchase it to pull an 8' X 5' trailer with a John Deere 140 tractor. It mounted perfectly. All I had to do was drill two holes and everything bolted right into place. I was worried about having to remove it if I wanted to pull a garden cart. I was pleased to see the the this hitch has a hole to hole to allow me to tow both. I decided to put it to the test and I was able to haul 1100 lb. ( way over the tractors limit) to the back yard and never had a problem. Now I can't speak for other brands of tractors, but if you have a John Deere, this is a must if you want to tow a larger trailer.

    Beefy. This lawn tractor hitch is beefy.

    This is how things WERE made that came from the U.S. years and years ago. It's beefy. The finish is even professional and sturdy. (1)Color instructions-seriously. (2)All necessary hardware: Big-bolt, big nut,couple of washers, lockwasher, (3) Even a wrench to hold the aforementioned big bolt whilst tightening the big nut. This hitch is heavier than most new lawn tractors frames. Great value, just quality stuff.

    Nice sturdy hitch.

    Nice sturdy hitch. Mounted it to a Cub Cadet XT1. The wider upper mount does not fit my cub model well when turned either up or down. Used the smaller bracket. The curve did not fit the hitch well and had to play with the bolt tightening sequence for a good but slightly stressed fit. You will need a socket to tighten the 3/4 hitch ball - it is possible with a wrench but access is hindered. Used two 3/8 fender washers on the inside of the upper bracket (they are not provided) to strengthen the upper bracket mount. You can substitute a 3/4 diameter nut, lock washer and bolt (not provided) if you plan on only using the 5/8 pin hitch. To mount the upper bracket you will need to pre-fit the hitch and drill the holes for mounting. Best to use a 1/8 bit, then enlarge the holes. Take your ...

    Superb workmanship

    The workmanship is outstanding. The welds are picture-perfect. The black coating shines and is smooth. Installation and assembly are easy and straight-forward. There are two very minor notations. First, you need a 1 1/8" socket to tighten down the ball. It's not a size that most people have in their tool bag. Second, some of the items smelled like cigarette smoke. I'm glad it is a product that is installed outside. I highly recommend this product. I am extremely pleased with it. I can pull my Thule trailer around the yard and fill it up with yard debris and then haul it up to the driveway to hook onto my SUV. No more lugging wheelbarrows full of stuff up to the driveway to dump into the trailer and then repeating the process (over and over again).
