Arguably the most influential of the silent era comics, Keaton made a string of amazing silent comedies that have, in turn, made him a legend and that remain as funny and inventive today as the were in the early part of the 20th century. The features included are: THE SAPHEAD, THREE AGES, OUR HOSPITALITY, SHERLOCK JR., THE NAVIGATOR, SEVEN CHANCES, GO WEST, BATTLING BUTLER, THE GENERAL, COLLEGE, and STEAMBOAT BILL, JR. See individual titles for details. The KEATON PLUS disc contains: TEN GIRLS AGO (1962), and uncompleted musical, THE AWAKENING (1954 26 min.), Keaton's first dramatic role, as well as education films Keaton made in the 1950s, other short films, commercials, home movies, and much more.

    A MUST HAVE for Buster Keaton Fans!

    This is an absolute must for fans of Buster Keaton and it has virtually everything of Buster's you could ever want. Not only contains his 11 feature films but a whopping 19 of his amazing shorts that are every bit as wonderful and brilliant as his features. A nice cherry on the cake is the bonus disc full of extras, rare footage, clips and so forth. I was lucky enough to get this amazing set for myself and I will treasure it always!

    A true Master of Comedy

    If you have never watched a Keaton comedy then you have missed out of one of the most important and inventive comedians of all time!!! One thing that is absolutely amazing is that Buster did ALL HIS OWN STUNTS, no stand ins. In all his films and shorts there is only one stunt that he did but was not satisfied with, so he got an Olympic gold medal winner to do the pole vault stunt in College. Buster was an amazing athlete and it really shows in his films which were filmed in live action and NO special effects. This is a 10 OUT of 10. Must have!!!

    You can't get any better than the great stone face

    This is THE must have for fans of the late, great comedian Buster Keaton. His best features and short films are collected here--Go West, The General, One Week, My Wife's Relations--as well as some of his appearances on television. Keaton's deadpan face is legendary, and so are all his dangerous gags (all of which he performed himself.) He is immortalized as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, comedians and directors of all time. There is over 1,000 minutes of endless joy to be found here, so if you don't own this, what are you waiting for? Get it...but don't try those dangerous tricks at home ;).

I Recived this box set of Buster Keaton on very very low price because somebody afraid to making bit because has chinies subtitles (If you like to insert the subtitles)Or if you like to insert english subtitles or without (NOTHING Subtitles)Is the same with the US Box Set. The Diferent is on The Cover and Box. The US Version is Each DVD with diferent Box and Cover with the each film . On Chinies Version is One Box Set and One Cover. Thanks Again

    Awesome product!

    I brought this product so I can have my collection on DVD. I like this product because it's the full collection on my favorite classic screen actor/comedian. I enjoy watching the genius that was Buster Keaton, on his films. I have no dislikes on this product. Compare to others, I like box sets that have much more than the original classic films and you get more out of enjoying owning them. I especially like seeing rare footage and all the extra's you get on one DVD in this box set. Like TV, home movies, interview etc.
