Exactly as described and in good condition, but I personally wouldn’t ship a $100 fragile item, such as a camera lens, in a bubble mailer with one sheet of bubble wrap around the item and no “fragile” warning even written on the packaging. Great pocket size HD Camcorder
I say pocket-size but that's true only for loose fitting shorts. It is small and easily portable compared to earlier versions of camcorders however. The video quality is excellent in outdoor conditions (HD=WOW) and good indoors (It's all about lighting). I had mine at a karate tournament which was held inside an old middle school gymnasium and the video was clear with a little yellowish tint (although those old gym lights were the yellowish variety). I must make a note that start-up with this model is amazing. You open the LCD and it is ready to record in less than 2 seconds. That's fast! And transferring to a computer was easy through iMovie 09. (I had to upgrade to import to my Mac. Happy I did.) For the price I paid, I have no complaints. It works well, uses an SDHC card and has ... great features,perfect working condition. Love the slick LCD of it all. Touch screen is amazing as well. Face tracking, and other affects im just amazed with. Great item for sure.

Excellent Camera.
My one peeve is that I would really like to get 'Time Lapse Recording' into this kind of camera, just like HDC-300 does. Also, remember, that by default the 'quality' is setup to 'HG'? and you might want to set it up to max 'HA', I think. Other than that, it beats the hell out of my friend's SONY.

I enjoy using it. The size of the camcorder is a plus. It is not to big and heavy and it is not under-sized to make the operation difficult.

Very nice camcorder for the price. I had a camcorder but it wasnt HD and i kinda wanted to have HD so I purchased this for a little more money but the difference was worth the little extra money.
