    Charming story worth reading more than once.

    Checked this book out from the library, read it and lent it out and two more people read it before it was returned. Then I decided I wanted to read it again and wanted a copy on my bookshelf so I bought a copy of my own. Short easy read about small southern town in the 1940s; nice snapshot of an time long gone.

    If you read and enjoyed Confederacy of Dunces, you will like this book. If not, still read it slowly a few chapter at a time. The book is a marvelous achievment for a teenager.
