With the future of the world hanging in the balance, "Dragon Age: Inquisition" raises the bar to another high standard.The gameplay and combat are both excellent representations of an exciting roleplaying game. You can create a character who is either male or female and choose both a class and a race for that character. Warriors can either wield a sword and shield or a two-handed weapon. Rogues can use either two daggers or a bow, depending on your equipment choices. Mages use staves and are skilled in magic, both offensive and defensive. For the first time in the series, the races include human, elf, dwarf, and qunari. The story changes very subtly depending on what race you pick, and characters may even treat you differently. This means that you'll have the opportunity for multiple gameplay experiences over repeated plays.In "Dragon Age: Inquisition," adventures and side quests are key elements in gaining experience and influence points. Experience lets your characters learn new abilities, and influence unlocks new missions. Explore each map with care to find new loot and characters in need of help. Once you're safely back at base, take the time to talk carefully with each member of your party. They'll help you unlock more quests or offer key insight into the plot. In true Bioware tradition, some characters can even be romanced.The Deluxe Edition for the PS4 is packed with exclusive content. With hundreds of hours of missions and quests available in the base game, this version adds even more to enjoy. The item packs include upgraded weapons available at the start of the game. It also includes the Flames of the Inquisition Weapons Arsenal DLC. This DLC is available for all classes in the game. As implied, the weapons are all coated in fire. There is also the Flames of the Inquisition Armor set, which can only be worn by the Inquisitor.Other treats available in this edition include new mounts, such as the Red Hart and the Bog Unicorn. Cross the plains or brave the perilous quagmires with these trusty steeds at your disposal. A new throne is available to use at Skyhold as well. This dragon throne lets you judge your enemies from a lofty, and somewhat morbid, perch.This edition also comes with a digital soundtrack. Take Trevor Morris' gorgeous compositions with you wherever you are and relive your favorite moments from the story. Last but not least, the Deluxe Edition provides additional bonus content for multiplayer fans.
