    OEM parts work best.

    Although the original retaining clip is broken, it it functional, with the use of a small zip tie. The Hood latch rod, mount, and release are all OEM stamped Mopar parts numbered parts.

    Hood latch

    The hood latch was something that I needed and was not available anymore from Mopar America... The only recourse was to buy used one hey... And it is fine. I'm able to open my hood now
