Was looking for a replacement set of headphones for my old Philips cordless infrared ones and these ones seemed to be mentioned quite frequently in hits which contained to phrase 'best wireless headphones' so I decided I'd try and get a pair - problem was, nowhere in the good old UK sold them anymore and so I was forced to look to the US. Anyhoo I digress. These headphones seem very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is excellent - I didn't notice any hiss whatsoever. They do take an absolute age to charge however (mine are onto their 3rd day charging!) Setting them up is a doddle too. Pricewise I think they compare pretty well with the currently available ones - and it's the same old saying - if you want the best you've got to pay a few more quid. I'd rate these as probably the ... This can be quite annoying and I think the design would have been better if they had a simple on/off switch instead. Also, putting them in the recharge stand is overly fiddly. Overall I don't regret purchasing them but I wouldn't purchase another set.

Harmonic distortion really noticable at the earphones!
Well, The headphone set has host of features but the earphone set reproduces harmonic distortion really audible even if the base unit is not in use. (Out of the room etc.) The cinema effect is the best feature of it. Line In or digital inputs on the base unit portrays it's potential. But the receiver unit uses radio frequency (rf) signal in two analog separate frequencies for each channel. Those carrier frequencies are not digital like bluetooth. So the distortion is unavoidable. The build date on the manual is 2003. Good and Bad about this product.
1- Excellent sound quality. It connects to fiber optic cable. (copper optional). 2- you have to be in line with the transmitter. If someone passes between you and the TV. You will loose the sound. 3- The headphones Fit tight. if you wear glasses you will have a slight problem. 4- They sell for over $200+Tax. I paid $155 Total. So shop around.
