    Pet hair vac

    This Bissel pet hair vacuum is what I expected it to be. I bought this vacuum to clean up cat hair from upholstery (couches, chairs, curtains, etc) and once I received it I opened it up and immediately tried it. It comes with two different suction devices and both work great. Do not expect miracles from this vacuum! Remember that it is small (small motor) and handheld. You may need to go over areas, be patient, etc. But, this is overall a great item and I do recommend it for the price and performance.

    Could work for heavy dirt, but not fluffy stuff

    I tried to use this vacuum as soon as it arrived. It seems powerful enough. However, the vents on the sides create a strong wind that blows away the stuff you are trying to pick up, spreading it all around the room. I tried to shield the blower, but it still created a bigger mess than I was trying to clean up. Not as useful as it seems.

    The Best Pet Hair Eraser I've Used

    I love Bissell products. With that being said, it was only natural I look to them for the right product. I had been using the pet hair tool which came with my vacuum. When it finally broke at the neck due to overuse, I was just sick. Originally I was looking to replace the pet hair tool attachment when I saw this hand held cleaner. This little hand held is truly a "pet hair eraser"!! One pass and the hair disappears! No more back & forth elbow wrenching motion. Just one pass & the hair is completely gone from the furniture. We have three dogs, all with lovely coats of hair that shred year round. And of course the favorite spots for their naps are on our textured fabric sofas, loveseats, and chairs.     Light Weight and Works Well

    I like my little vacuum, it cleans fur off the couch and chairs quickly and completely. The on/off switch is in a convenient place. The only thing I've had a problem with is the filter which falls out when I empty the machine and is confusing as to which direction it goes back in since it's square.

    Overall Happy

    This little vacuum is much easier to hold on the stairs than my upright. It has great suction! I will say first that I have 2 labs in my house, so I have a lot of hair to sweep and I really only get to the stairs once a week. Because of my 2 pets, I have to empty the vacuum very often. I can only get about 2 steps done before I notice it not sweeping up hair. But the frequency of having to empty it is worth not having to lug my heavy upright up and down the steps.
