  • Makes the Christian scriptures into a Big Joke

I know this review is in the minority, but personally I totally avoid Veggie Tales for my kids. I don't mind a bunch of nonsense so much with non-biblical topics, but I find it hard to believe that Jesus would sanction this foolishness. I tend to think that right after he drove the moneychangers out of the temple, he would have turned on Veggie Tales. The product of a big company's hype and media blitz, the whole thing makes God's words into a big joke. Silly vegetables who act like fools - is this really the impression we want to give children? Veggie Tales is irreverent, even blasphemous, foolishness. Christians are instructed to raise wise, sober children with a deep fear, awe, and respect for God. Parents, do you really think more pandering to childish silliness will ...

  • These are the best movies for kids!

These movies are so good for kids especially in today's society where there's practically no cartoons about God. I bought this for my ten year who loves it and another for my 3 year old who has watched about fifty times in the last week. Excellent source of morals, teaches patience, kindness, respect, loves for other's and best of all love for God! You can let your child watch these without having to worry about what your child is taking from it. Wonderful movies!!!!

  • A Message From The Lord

The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything tell the Veggie family the story of Jonah, an asparagus who makes his way across deserts and seas to deliver a message from God.

  • Good movie- but not for very young children

Although I am an avid fan of the Veggie tales Collection; I felt there was too many times that this movie was a bit too scary for my youngest children. We own almost every single movie they produced. They teach wonderful morals and everything is centered upon God as being a very important part of one's life. My oldest children and I enjoyed it though.

  • Love Those Veggie Tales!!

My grandchildren LOVE Veggie Tales and so does Nana! They are 3 years old and 2 years old, and they have a ball learning good values and being entertained by the antics of the Veggie Tales! Bob and Larry make their day! The story of Jonah and the Whale is so well done, and it teaches them to follow the Lord's instructions, and not to run away...God always knows best. Loved the movie!
