    Powerful but consumes a lot.

    Very powerful, but it requires too much power. The temperatures can go beyond 80 celsius but the graphics card is made for that temperature.

    If you can afford it, get it.

    Overall a good card. I have 2 in SLI, but even having 1 would be a recommendation. Be sure to install the EVGA tools that are include, they can help monitor the card and even allow even more overclocking. Con: The card does run hot. This isn't a surprise for the 500 series card but since it is superclocked out of the box, expect higher than average temps.
