Product Information

Billed as a "new evolution" in Konami's perennial dancing series, Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova features a new graphics engine and more than 65 songs for 100 minutes of pulse-pounding music. This PlayStation 2 release is based on the 2006 arcade game and includes a variety of new play modes to attract both novice and expert dancers. A voice assisted tutorial mode is available for those new to the series, while aggressive dancers can strut their stuff in the new battle mode, where rhythmic rivals use their feet to perform attacks and counterattacks. In addition to the visual enhancements, which include 3D backgrounds, music videos, and dancers, the game adds EyeToy support, online functionality, and an ability to transfer data to and from the arcade title. The bundle version contains both the game and a single dance mat.

    Worth the wait!

    I like the game, but not the pad. The dance pad is the only thing that I want to change from my order. Other than that, I am glad to have picked up such an awesome game!

    Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA for PS2

    DDR Supernova offers fun and challenging play, and is probably one of the best from the DDR series. Supernova has some great trance/dance songs including Armin Van Buuren's - "Shivers" and songs by Ferry Corsten and Paul Van Dyk. It has plenty of licensed songs, as well as pop songs that everyone will recognize such as "Since You've Been Gone" - Kelly Clarkson, and "Jerk It Out" - Ceasars. The layout and game play style is very similar to DDR MAX 1 and 2 with game, workout and endurance modes. The only thing that really bothered me was the unlocking system. You have to complete different challenges (like, "Complete five songs with an A grade or above" or, "Choose (some song) and beat it", etc) and then complete a final "Showdown" challenge.     Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova Bundle

    I've been very happy with this dance system. Never even tried one before but have been intimidated watching others. It always looked so hard. I like the different levels available. Every age in my household uses it -- from 7 on up to 40. I especially like the workout mode because I can keep going (7 routines in a row) and it doesn't kick you out if you aren't making all the steps. It's a great way to practice on those tough songs without being discouraged. I was also the holdout on getting a Playstation 2 for years because I didn't want the kids just sitting in front of the t.v. With the dance program, they are getting lots of exercise and having fun!

    DDR Super Nova Bundle

    I love this ddr. It's a lot of fun. I use it mainly on the workout mode. You're able to easily adjust which level of difficulty you wish to do. The songs are good. The only thing I didn't care for was, you are unable to shut ALL movement off in the background while the song is playing. Otherwise, it's great. The pad works better than most others out there. It's exercise you don't mind doing.
