    Love my Penn 2 speed reels

    Love my 2 speed sql30--initially bought the larger 50sql--so easy to crank no matter how big a fish is! With weak wrist muscles, the low speed is fantastic--as long as you can crank the reel unlike conventional/single speed, I will never go back to a single speed ever!

    Squall vsw's

    I've had a lot of penn gear over the years and they finally got it right with these I have internationals and level winds and hl and hlws and have had shimano stuff too These are good in single speed but really good if you need 2 speed reels they hold a lot of line Have monster drags super loud clickers and much better bearings and gears fairly light compared to my big gold reels much beefier frames compared to my 345 gtis which were discontinued these are designed here but made in China but have good quality hopefully after trump wins penn will bring their manufacturing back to the USA

    Great so far.

    Only used one time so far but flawless for AJ’s and deep dropping grouper. 2 speed worked great and helped my 13yr old daughter pull in the AJ’s by her self.
