    The industry standard for screen capture

    The Elgato PCIE capture card is better than I could've expected. I've used screen capturing software throughout my time as a video editor, and it always seems to have an obnoxious caveat. This is the first time I've used hardware, and the quality of the image is astounding. No loss in quality detected vs. seeing the real thing. Audio that is caught over HDMI will also be recorded. Even though it does capture 4K at 60fps, you can set it to lower resolutions as desired within the software settings. The "Mk.2" is much smaller than its predecessor, and fit all-too-perfectly in my last available PCIE slot. Elgato did release the 4K Pro, which still records in 4K60, but it allows passthrough for 8K60. In other words, you record in 4K, but can see the image on your TV (assuming you're playing a ...
