      Christian apologetics by C. S. Lewis

      Pleasantly surprised. This is the 1st book by C.S. Lewis I've read, and because of his educational level and the different time period, I wasn't sure that I'd be able to connect with his writings. I've experienced this with other Christian writings from past generations. I was immediately struck by how clearly he presented the material directly in very plain English, making his thoughts and the information he was attempting to convey very accessible to the non-academic reader. This is also a very small book. This might be a good volume for a reader who would like to be introduced to C.S. Lewis as an author.
