A well known Brand and a great product
I bought this not too long ago and can say I am very pleased. Just an FYI your body temperature can change throughout the day depending on your routines. This is real easy to use and i've ben using it to check on my temperatures for the Covid virus. Temps can fluctuate a few degrees throughout the day again depending on your activity or non activity. I highly recommend this since the old mercury thermometers your mom used to use are no longer available :(I bought this not too long ago and can say I am very pleased. Not a diagnostic device.
I ordered two from different vendors, and returned one immediately when I had repeated highs and lows with repeated testing . The second one which is this request for data was about seemed more consistent although I check variants with a mercury thermometer. In summary I would not accept the Vicks thermometer reading wiyhout confirmation of a mercury thermometer, perhaps a screener but not diagnostic of fever.I ordered two from different vendors, and returned one immediately when I had repeated highs and lows with repeated testing . Don’t buy this unreliable thermometer
I bought this thermometer because it had high ratings for reliability. It was definitely fast. In 2 seconds it gave me a temperature, but much higher then the correct one. I tried it multiple times and different days in close succession and it gave me different readings. I compared it with my old, reliable but slow thermometer and it was more than a degree off. During these times it’s critical to know if I have a fever. This is not the thermometer to buy.I bought this thermometer because it had high ratings for reliability. It was definitely fast. It would have been nice to get it with a good battery.
The only problem I had was the battery was low when I received it. I have to put a new battery in then I'll be able to se how good it works.
