Vitamin C (a.k.a. Colleen Fitzpatrick) performed as a dancer and actor before deciding music was her true calling, subsequently becoming the lead singer for Eve's Plum. Now on her own, Vitamin C blends effervescent alt-pop with many other genres, including rap and reggae and a multitude of classic samples. The outcome is daring but accessible, with sunny melodies and irresistible rhythms. Her 1st single, "Smile" (feat. Jamaican dancehall artist Lady Saw) is rising up the charts.
