Outstanding communications and quick shipping. Great product, however the packaging could have been better. Some of the liquid leaked into the ziplock bag, so the bottle was damp. I would recommend this seller.

    Works fairly well

I bought this to use for LOTS of 9mm cases. I mounted it to a "lap desk" so that I can sit in my easy chair and watch TV while priming. It works great 95% of the time but sometimes won't move the primer from the loading chute to the plunger. I then have to remove the primer tray and shell holder to clear the jam. For the price, its a good purchase.

    Poor Quality Tool

The Lee Auto Bench Prime at first appears to be a great value because of the price. All my reloading equipment (turret press, dies) is from Lee and works just fine so I thought I would also have success with the bench priming tool to have more consistent and quicker priming. Not so. After only about 200 cases I noticed quirks. Even though I loaded the feedtray properly, the primers would often feed sideways into the case causing a partially stuck primer in a rifle case. Not only is this dangerous but removing it is frustrating and time consuming. Then the plastic feeding mechanism cracked partially which made things even worse. I tried many times to make the primers feed right and for about 75 cases they did. Then the same problems reappeared. This is not how I want to spend time ...

  • Why so cheap?

I am a novice reloader and had previously only primed on a SS press. I bought this Lee and will never prime on a press again. It's faster, easier, consistent, and has a better "feel" of the seating. Did I mention faster? (A lot imo.) It seats just below flush like I want. Fwiw, I have only primed large rifle primers (CCI 200, CCI BR2, and Fed210M). BEWARE that the instructions state that you should SINGLE FEED ALL TYPES OF FEDERAL Lg rifle primers, so if that is what you mainly use I don't recommend this particular bench primer. I will stick with CCI and use the auto feed. Also, I removed the rubber O-ring on the lever as recommended by a couple of youtube users. No squeek and no failures to reset/drop primers now. They said "Lee recommended it". I can't confirm that myself though. Fwiw, ...

  • Lee Precision Auto Bench Primer

The Lee Auto Bench Primer workers pretty good. It does jam every now and then, but all in all it works good. Its better then a hand primer. A lot less stress on the hand and you can feel how tight the primers are going in to a case. I use it more then priming on my progressive press. I have more control of the priming operation.

  • Lee Precision Auto Bench Prime

I have had this a couple of weeks now and primed about 300 rds of .223. Out of every 100, it is going to crimp and ruin about 3 primers. Can't figure out if it is me or the machine. If it is me, I don't know what I am doing wrong on the ones that crimp. It is MUCH FASTER than doing on the reloader. But, I was having more trouble on the reloader than I am here. Maybe I can figure out what is going wrong on the three. One review said you could not turn it to LOCK once it had been open and feeding primers. Mine will LOCK and remove with primers in it and in the one position.I would recommend this product.
