        American quality can't be beat

        The quality of the Greenfield kickstand was obvious right out of the package. Solid aluminum with a precision hinge that easily snaps into position. Super easy to install (but you do need your own Allen wrench for the final bolt). Makes a person proud to be a part of the trend to buy American-made products whenever possible and get this country back on its feet again!

        Excellent stand - the buyer wasn't paying attention to the length.

        The design of this kickstand is excellent. Unfortunately for me, I wanted to use it on my wife's mountain bike, but the stand was already shortened to the extent where it's not usable. I'll have it extended by welding, but it will likely cost at least another $20. I would have been money ahead to look more carefully at the stand and determine that it had been shortened too much already for my purpose.

        good, strong, the right length.

        Purchased as an exact replacement --the other one broke because one of my kids sat on the bike and rocked it the point of breaking it. On the bright side v correctly, and I was able to make the kickstand a touch longer, which made the bike more stable when parked with the kickstand down.

        Greenfield rear mount side stand

        Very good, the same as mid stand but has adapter plates and bolts. Gives way more stability when extended. Bike Won't fall over as easy. Stand is in back, out of the way..

        Didn't fit

        My cannondale frame is to thick and spaced apart to work on back. Found a top plate, and mounted it up front old style, and it worked. Luckily they use the same lower stand for front and back mount. Maybe should include both mounting options in package for the money.
