    Whisper quiet and effective...

    I bought this to help improve the air quality in the room of my mostly bedridden father. The lack of air quality in the room was discernable before adding the Quadra with the ozone guard. You really have to be close and listening carefully to hear the little bit of noise the unit makes. The 'breeze' generated it negligible, so don't buy this to try and keep your cool. Buy one to mitigate poor air quality. It works. No more bad smells when I walk in the room and the negative ions generated are good for improving the cognitive capacity of seniors. I cannot recommend this highly enough for anyone caregiving for older people and/or infants. Just bite the bullet and get one. You won't regret it.
