It was not very easy to install, and I'm a good mechanic. And thus I could not find the model of the mower I still could piece together what I would need. But as it turned out it was in reverse rotation and tha mower walked backwards towards me. Wow Ithought, But by taking the transaxle case apart and knocking out the gear pin and returning the gear 180 degrees I then put it into foward motion... So much for Model No's STEVEIt was not very easy to install, and I'm a good mechanic. And thus I could not find the model of the mower I still could piece together what I would need. Toro Personal Pace Transmission Replace
The new axle bearings have to be pressed into the bushings but my rag lined vise did the trick. So glad I replaced the drive axle bearings as the old ones were shot. (good snap ring pliers a must) I opened the gearbox and topped it off with wheel bearing grease as it was a little on the light side with factory grease. Getting the old pulley off the old transmission required a bit of improvisation. I used a 12 point socket mounted upright in a vise and placed the old gearbox down onto it to immobilize the pulley shaft in order to remove the pulley and washers. All in all, I am very pleased with the parts and would absolutely recommend them to anyone. 2 out of 4 is only half
The two woodruff keys could not fit into the drive shaft because they were oversize. Too thick. Had to get some from a local source. The springs were correct and became part of the repair. Keys were described as OEM. If they were OEM they would have fit.
