l have a 29 gallon Cichlid tank and this filter is a massive upgrade from the Aquaclear 30 I had in it before! It allows a longer period of time between water changes, higher pressure of filtration, and the water is so much cleaner!! Thanks soo much! I love itt!!

    Aquaclear 70

    I was using a aquaclear 20 to filter my 20gl high, and it just wasn't getting the job done. So I decided to go up in models, and choose the aquaclear 70 over the 30 or 50 models. Boy was that a decision I'll never regret. It's doing exactly what I thought my aquaclear 20 was going to do, but the aquaclear 20 just wasn't capable to handle a 20gl tank. They rated it for a 20gl tank, but it's more suited for a much smaller tank. Mind you I just had it running on a empty tank, no inhabitants and it was still struggling to maintain the tank. The aquaclear 70 is bigger and moving much more water than the aquaclear 20, so now I'm pleased with the results. I'v been using aquaclear for use, and I'm a devoted customer. Aquaclear is one of the best filters on the market today!! Hands down....

    A Great Filter

    I have used various brands of over the back filters and this is by far, the best. It does a great job keeping the water clean and it's easy to maintain. Currently I have 2 of them in a 55 gallon tank containing 5 tilapia about 6 " long. They are poop machines! The Aquaclears keep the tank very clear and clean.

    Works great, affordable supplies, quiet!

    My Goldfish tank had cloudy water since pretty much ever. I had one of those cartridge media type filters but it wasn't designed to be efficient enough to remove the amount of debris the Goldfish were putting out. And the pump motor rattled all the time! Annoying! This unit is designed so the filter media fits tightly into the base. Minimal bypass. Easy to service in the future, and replacement media appears to be affordable. In 2 weeks my water is sparkling. I had forgotten how good it looked. I had forgotten about the background scenery I put on the back of the tank, it had been so long since I had seen it, LOL!! And it's so quiet the only noise I hear is from the air stones now!

    Great Power Sparkling Clear Water

    Great filter, quiet, powerful, keeps my tank beautiful, maybe a bit strong for a planted tank, maybe adjust it for lower flow, but I love this filter. Also very easy to maintain! Get one!

    Absolutely a great filter! Ill never go with a different one!

    Does an absolute great job of keeping my 55 gallon tank crystal clear!!! I tried many filters by Tetra, including the one with 2 tubes for suction and they all were junk. Barely any water flow within a couple of days. I have been using this filter for 2-3 months now, and couldn't be happier. Great water flow, great cleaning, and again, my water is crystal clear. Buy this one. You won't regret it!!!
