    Hard to Believe

    Installed new carb would not start....removed and reinstalled several times with no success...after an afternoon of frustration, wondering if it was me doing something wrong discovered after removing it again saw thru comparison with the old one that there was no hole, about 3/32 in the carb stem which allows gas to enter the throat of the carb. I drilled the new port and is now working. This is a true story and if this is checked out it would not be the only one sold this way. It has to be a quality control issue. I am not looking for any refunds. I'm just satisfied it was not me that was the problem and it is now working. I am writing this to bring the situation to somebodys attention. Yours Truly. I wish I did take photos,to me it was a first.

    Great kit at a great price for your honda engine based machine.

    This is a great deal. I have a troy power washer with a Honda engine. In the past i have removed the carburetor to clean it and assure it operates when needed. With this kit, I can renew the engine. Though the carburetor is slightly different than the original, functionally it is the same. I purchased another as a spare for the future.

    Excellent value

    The choke on the new carb has a spring loaded return which I didn't notice before installation. Depending on your set up you may want to disable it. Engine started right up and runs smoothly. Three gaskets, air filter, spark plug and a piece of fuel line were in the box. No instructions so be careful of gasket placement, there are small differences.

    Just as Good as Factory!

    My 10 year old Honda mower started having problems starting and running smooth, after a tune up. I wanted to rebuild the carburetor, but a kit would cost as much as an aftermarket new carb, $15. I installed it in 30 minutes, and it started right up with first pull. No adjustment was needed, now I am ready for a summer of care free mowing!
