    Great FP for artist?

    Writing at different angles while holding the FP at different angles is just not for me. I always write close to the 45 degrees angle. I see line variation if holding the FP at 90 degrees angle to the paper (but find it uncomfortable to do so) and I never write in "reverse" mode. Having said this, I think it would be a great item for an artist to add to his/her "tools box" obtaining various thickness if drawing with ink is the prefered medium. Sailor converter being what they are (small volume), you do find yourself re-filling sooner than expected. I do like a broad line and use this pen regularly... Just not for journaling.

    High cost for size and quality.

    It is a very small feather. They kept the details. But does not include converter, like other pens of good quality.
