    HDD of Seagate is very reliable.

    This "HDD" is pleased with the place where operation sound is very quiet and it is long-life. The product of Seagate is used for much notebook PCs and car navigation, and is evaluating the reliable point. As for the personal computer which I own, all also of a notebook and a desktop are using the hard disk of Seagate.

    good for replacement

    According to the official website http://knowledge.seagate.com/articles/en_US/FAQ/204763en/?q=serial+number&language=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1#notebook, these HDD have been built before 2010, and that they are not new. The serial number and the device name of the product did not match. The serial numbers of the model HDD momentus 5400.2 FAMILY https://apps1.seagate.com/downloads/request.html. However, in my opinion, is the best solution to replace the old HDD laptop. Amongst the new ATA HDD for notebooks were only WD, their reliability is extremely low.

    Bought for an older computer. makes my old outdated machine up to newer standards i haven't recieved or used the item but i want to make sur it arrives with free gifts bor a store credit or something geeky cool.
