    Instant rust repair!

    Easy to install, although the lower screws on the rear wheels would be much easier with the wheels removed. The fit is excellent, and they are large enough to completely hide the dreaded rear wheel rust zones that plague the Silverado. The flares looked decent with the dark blue paint on my truck. Install time was around 1 hour for the complete set. I did have to remove factory 4X4 decals since the rear flare partially covers it, but now I don't see the unsightly rust above my rear wheel wells.

    Maybe adequate for a “farm truck”

    Horrible fit. Bottom ends do not meet the factory bottom of bed before the top of the fender flare meets the top of the wheel well. I’d supply your own self tappers. I had to pre-drill 1/8th hole and still stripped the heads. One side I didn’t have much rust to cover, other side was getting pretty bad and didn’t cover up far enough.

    Good flares but the installation marks are in the wrong place

    These flares worked well on my '09 Silverado extended cab 1500. They partially cover the Z71 sticker so I removed that. Heating it with a hair dryer worked well to soften the adhesive enough to pull it off easily. The instructions say to drill holes in the flares at the marks on the flares then screw them on. This did not work because the marks were in the wrong place. It worked well to clamp the flares in place with C-clamps then drill holes and screw them on. They fit the truck contours well and seem to be made well (except for the drill marks).

    Read instructions and install flares...

    The fender flares were exactaly as described. They came with an instruction sheet in detail of how to install. It takes two people to do the installation, one person holds the flare in place the other person drills the markes holes. Then use the included hardware and follow the instructions to fasten the flare to the vehicle.
