Awesome amp, not a simple plug and play install
It has such a small foot print compared to amps it’s size. It powers my Morels so nicely. Took time to install because I needed the harness for the RCA in/outputs. From Audison it might be a little more ideal for a factory amp with the high level inputs a standard, the RCA harness was $70. Needing two harnesses for speakers and inputs(RCA and remote) is kind of old school. I would have preferred standard inputs with screws/allen bolts. I don’t like when power/ground wires angled down like this. You can’t just plug all the wires in, set gain, and be done with it. Software on my laptop took a bit of getting used to despite having practiced beforehand. The configuration wizard is key to getting it started. Adjusting the (gain) Input Sensitivity took some time, despite using the ... It has such a small foot print compared to amps it’s size. It powers my Morels so nicely. Adjusting the (gain) Input Sensitivity took some time, despite using the configuration wizard, I needed to lower it a little after saving it the second time I interfaced it because at 0db it still was louder than where my head unit clips. The DSP and power is great. You can add up to 8 bands and move them around between, but it’s actually more like 10 bands: I’ll have to tweak it again now that I know how everything works. I have different front and rear deck speakers so being able to equalize them independently is such a blessing. I also need more time to adjust the time alignment and delay. I did measure the distances but I didn’t want to spend too much extra time messing with the delay. Overall a good good value. I was tempted to go with the Kicker IQ 4 channel. I saw that it has so much more bands of equalization. I think it would have been more time consuming to adjust and get where I want though. I’m pretty happy with the results, it just needs minor tweaks.
